The m2 looks a lot like the m1 but that s where the similarities end. Spend that 50 on a dozen tp5 balls and you ve got a winning combination in our book. It is the best 5 metal wood that i ve had in 50 years of golfing even when i was a 3 handicap and am now an 11 i m 73. It s more forgiving and playable for the club golfer over the m1 and it s 50 cheaper.

The m2 s slot stretches nearly the entire length from heel to toe to help the face flex near the usga limit. I have not hit a bad shot with this club in playing six rounds with it. With a forgiving face most shots have a nice whap sound and a feel similar to the drivers. Some players prefer hybrids because they play more like irons instead of shorter fairway woods such as a 5 wood.

Performance wise the taylormade aeroburner fairway was hard to beat but for some it lacked a little in looks sound and feel. Also the worst sounding club in years. It has a carbon composite crown that looks classy yet aggressive and as far as i can tell this club is a bit of a hybrid of the m1 and the aeroburner.

M2 fairway will be offered in 15 3 16 5 3hl 18 5 21 5hl and 24 7hl loft options while lh models will be offered in 15 16 5 18 lofts. This is simply not the case.
